It's confirmed, official and implemented. Visa fees for entry into Zambia are now US$50 single and US$80 double entry, for all nationalities requiring visas.

Note that multiple entry visas can only be obtained from Immigration Headquarters in Lusaka, or presumably from your nearest Embassy or High Commission if you pre-arrange your visa prior to your arrival in this country.
