WALKING WITH LIONS IN LIVINGSTONE
The picture is of a lion in Livingstone photographed by Joan Gerber, one of our Guests from Canada, who had this to say:
'Thank you so much for your letter after I got home! It was a lovely experience staying at Chanter's, meeting you, dining and enjoying your great food and visiting the various parts of Livingstone. I have told so many people how safe I felt and how hospitable you are in Livingstone!'
'We are very happy to be able to announce that the Walking with Lions experience will be opening in Livingstone this Saturday 20th December, being run by Lion Encounter in association with ALERT (African Lion & Environmental Research Trust), bookings to be done through Safari Par Excellence. The lions will be based up at Thorntree, next to where we already have the Elephant Back Safaris. The rate is $115pp ($10pp park fee to pay direct at the boma), no children under 15 yrs old allowed and clients must be over 1.5m in height.'
This means our Chanters Clients will no longer have to cross to Zimbabwe to walk with lions, unless of course they would like to.
