Tucked away in a quiet, secure and peaceful suburb of Livingstone, just a 15 minute walk from the city centre and only a 10km drive away from the awesome Victoria Falls, Chanters boasts some of the best food and atmosphere you’ll find in Livingstone.

Chanters Lodge, Livingstone was established in 1998 and was one of the first small lodges in Livingstone offering comfortable, affordable accommodation in quiet surroundings.

The Lodge has 10 comfortable, self contained, air-conditioned rooms and 1 suite all with satellite television and fridges. Free broadband wireless internet is usually available in the public areas of the lodge. There is a well stocked bar, excellent a la carte menu and a lovely swimming pool set in tropical gardens. An ideal setting in which the weary traveller can relax.

Livingstone has become known as the adventure capital of Southern Africa, and given the number of activities available it’s hardly any wonder! Chanters Lodge will be happy to arrange any of these activities for you including advance reservations, or arrangements after you arrive.

The Walking with Lions experience is being run by Lion Encounter in association with ALERT (African Lion & Environmental Research Trust). The lions are based at Thorntree, next to the Elephant Back Safaris. Please note that no children under 15 yrs old are allowed and clients must be over 1.5m in height. Transfers and park fee are included in the price. The park fee is payable in cash seperately.
