Introduction

Chanters Lodge, Livingstone was established in 1998 and was one of the first small lodges in Livingstone offering comfortable, affordable accommodation in quiet surroundings. We are only a 15 minute walk from Livingstone city centre, a 20 minute drive from the mighty Victoria Falls and an 8 minute drive from Livingstone International Airport. Most of the roads and sidewalks in Livingstone are in excellent condition making both walking and driving an enjoyable experience.

We offer a well stocked bar and Chanters offers an extensive a la carte menu with a wide variety of available dishes and snacks. Zambian dishes are just one of our specialities! Chanters prices for accommodation, food and beverages are very reasonable and set out elsewhere on the site.

The owner/manager of Chanters Lodge, Livingstone, Richard Chanter is a professional, UK trained hotelier with vast experience in the hotel industry in Africa in general and Zambia in particular. He is widely known throughout Zambia especially as the former General Manager of one of Lusaka’s leading hotels, and for providing excellent standards and quality of service. The Lodge is safe and secure with a young energetic staff – Zambian people are rightly famous for their friendly and helpful nature and there is emphasis on staff training and welfare. One of the above photos shows the ‘Chanters Girls’ receiving flower arrangement training.
